In her current law practice, Ms. Martone builds on her 40 years of experience as a trial and licensing lawyer in providing consultation and strategic advice about intellectual property disputes and transactions with a focus on patents.
This includes providing a “second look” at on-going litigation strategy and briefing, representing clients in mediation and settlement negotiations, and assisting clients in drafting agreements and closing transactions. Ms. Martone has worked with clients in the United States, Europe and Asia across a broad range of technologies.
Ms. Martone has consistently been ranked as a top lawyer nationally in her field. Her solo legal practice has also received national recognition. In addition to her law practice, she served for 28 years as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the New York University School of Law where she taught courses on patent law.
Ms. Martone also serves as an Arbitrator on the National Roster of Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association and is available to arbitrate commercial disputes concerning intellectual property, including disputes about patent validity, infringement and the commercial terms of patent licenses and other intellectual property transactions .
